Aw that is so very sad Maria. I will continue to pray for him.

Will he be able to come home?

You take good care too, it will be very trying on you both physically and emotionally.

Much love,
Amanda

Thanks Amanda.

I certainly am finding it tough at the moment- my joints have been very painful for several weeks now, so I've upped the meds.
I'm just taking one day at a time, and trying to give myself little treats. I've got some very supportive friends . And the bunnies to cuddleSmile

I hope he can come home- it's what he wants. There's no way he will go into a nursing home- not just because he'd rather be at home, but doesn't want to pay- good to see that he's still his stubborn old self!! It wouldn't be appropriate to use his actual words on the forumSmile . Maybe they will be able to organise home nursing for him.

love

Maria

Hospital now talking about fitting him with a pacemaker- this makes me feel better as it seems there is some hope for him. Fingers crossed.

Oh Maria! I am glad to hear about the hospital's suggestion but so sad to hear about the problems.

You are undoubtedly under so much strain and this will be making the RA so much more painful. It must be extremely challenging facing work each day, I am so sorry.

I can only offer you my prayers, friendship and serious medical advice which is choc and alcohol of some description (always read the label!LOL)

Love and prayers,

Amanda

Despite everything, dad remains on form- he's been visiting a neighbour who's in the next bay to him -a nosy old biddy who got on his nerves when they were both at home!!!

Amanda- thanks for the medicla advice. Add to that Marks and Spencer's tubs of mini bites- 2 for £4 offer at the moment!
Yes- work's a struggle but in some ways better than sitting moping at home by myself- well almost by myself. We do have a budgie with a limited vocabularyRazz

Yes it is the best advice around, I keep advising myself too!

LOL

Keep chatting with the budgie, that was my first and ONLY pet. Sigh.
